Happy June 9th Happy Sugar Baking Citizens!!! Husband Mic here and the old 6-9 means only one thing to me, Reva has been bugging me about her birthday month for a few weeks already. Seriously, her birthday has turned into a birthday week and recently a birthday month. Now, I am not sure what the exact parameters are for "birthday month" (when it starts/ends etc.), but I do know, that as a traditionalist, today is Reva's official birthday! She turns *cough* something or other *cough* and already her Facebook page is inundated with people making jokes about sending her cakes.
So what does Reva get for a birthday cake? Sing it with us now: "ice cream and cake and cake, ice cream and cake and cake. Ice cream and cake do the ice cream and cake, ice cream and cake do the ice cream and cake!" We seriously sang that every day during season three filming, none of which they can ever show because it would cost too much to get the rights. Speaking of Amazing Wedding Cakes, who saw the "Best of" last night? Yeah, we had no idea they were even doing it. If it wasn't for a vigilant DVR, we'd totally have missed it. No one from the network thought to alert us that they rehashed some footage to make a new episode. What did we think of it? Um.... back to Reva's birthday.
I thought it would be fun to pay tribute to my wife and amazing cake decorator by posting some photos from her past on the internet! She might hate me later, but hopefully you'll enjoy them now. Happy Birthday Reva!!!
