Hard to believe that only a few days into November we already have our favorite email of the month, but when this "gem" came in, we just had to recognize its brilliance. Mainly because usually emails like this are filled with mistakes and poor spelling, but this he or she (they don't specify) actually strung sentences together!
Interesting side note, you know the gang at Charm City keeps a file full of ridiculous emails and letters?
Take a look at that our biggest fan has to say:
"I think that it would be a good idea if you watched real cake decorators on TV or went to demonstrations that show you what true cake decorating is all about. I watched your show on WE channel where you tried to place blue drapes on the tiers of a cake and called that theatrical.
The reaction of the bride was totally unbelievable because the whole concept was immature and hardly professional. After having seen some of the true masters of cake decorating, I don't know why anyone would choose your shop unless you give them a huge discount.
I don't understand why you would agree to be on WE promoting yourself as a cake decorating shopbecause while some of your designs are adequate they certainly are not anywhere near the caliber of other shops I've seen and since the competition in LA must be busy, the cakes on the show would not encourage people to choose you."
Very sincerely,

Hmmm...... maybe you're right person I've never met or has no idea who I am! Maybe I should quit the business I've built up over the last decade and that pays my bills. Maybe I should offer a refund to the thousands of happy customers that have come to me over the years. Maybe this giant box of thank you cards and oh yes, the fact a national TV show wanted me on it is all just a big old lie? Maybe the fact that you are the only piece of hate mail I've received all season is a sign of something big! Wow, thanks for your enlightenment. By the way, can't wait to see your cakes soon and thanks for watching the show!
"Very sincerely" - Merci Beaucoup
P.S. Was this too catty? No, I didn't think so. If you want to hand out anonymous hate, be prepared for rebuttle;)
